Outside one customer’s home a delivery van arrives. A company car is stuck at a traffic light. Day after day, a swarm of service vehicles are covering the town. All of these vehicles are great to help a business stand out.

For businesses, bulk car stickers are a very convenient way to apply logos, contact information, campaign messages, or unique designs on multiple vehicles. Ideal for companies who want a similar appearance but do not have the budget for an entire vehicle wrap. They can also be ideal for car clubs, events teams, dealerships, & promotional campaigns.

Choose your material, design, and print method first before moving forward with that bulk order. A tiny bit of error on 100 stickers can cost a lot.

    One Order, Many Uses

The optimal sticker design will depend on where the sticker will appear and what you need it to do. A logo on a work van does different work compared to a small decal in a vehicle window.

Let’s discover some commonly used car stickers in bulk by the business.

    • Brand awareness: Put a logo, website, or phone number on company vehicles. Design is clear to help people recognize the business when the vans are parked or on the road.
    • For promotions: Adding stickers for a new product launch, seasonal offer, or local event. Long blocks of text, however, are harder to read than short messages.
    • For fleet identification: Add unit numbers, department names, or service labels. This aids staff and customers in identifying vehicles quickly.
    • For groups & communities: Car clubs, sports teams, & event organizers can order matching decals for members or volunteers.

It is recommended that you decide ahead of time whether your sticker has to catch eyes, relay information, identify a vehicle, or otherwise serve more than one purpose before picking a theme.

    The Five-Minute Design Test

Then you may have a sticker that looks good on a computer screen, but fails on the moving vehicle. Before signing off on the artwork, run it through this rapid test.

Can they see it from far away?

Keep the main message short. Make sure to use a clear font and provide high contrast from the text to the background. Large phone numbers and cluttered designs can be difficult to read from an adjacent lane or sidewalk.

    Does it fit the vehicle?

There’s a window for a design, but not a door panel. Check the space − consider all future or below if there is a trim that will not allow you to place.

When the Logo Is Resized − Will It Still Look Good?

Request a proof of the sticker at its true dimensions. When scaling down design, fine lines, and details may become invisible.

The artwork is prepared for print.

Vector artwork or high-resolution files (Not PNGs) for the supplier. Prior to sending the final design, verify the file type, color settings, and dimensions needed.

A proper clear proof can avert thousands of stickers design getting sent to print with mistakes.

Bulk Ordering with No Money Wasted

At least ordering in bulk will help cut down on that cost per sticker, but again you need to plan ahead.

First count up the cars, decide how many of them need stickers. Add a couple of extra to cover for stickers damaged in transit, future vehicles, or mistakes made when fitting the sticker. Do not order more than you need, particularly with designs that show dates, phone numbers, or other promotional overlays.

Ask the supplier to quote a price for multiple quantities. Check the cost per sticker, setup charges, artwork fees packaging, delivery, and more. Have a look at if the cost fluctuates with length, color, stuff, or personalized cutting.

    • Final size and shape
    • Material and adhesive type
    • Printed colors and finish
    • Quantity and spare units
    • Production and delivery dates
    • Packaging and trade terms

An inexpensive quote might not have included any of those. Instead, offers compare the same specs so that you can see what the actual cost is.

The Quality Check That Almost All Buyers Overlook

For a small order, it is simple to check every sticker. The larger shipment requires more of a planned review.

Request a sample or digital proof prior to proceeding with the full production. Validate that the logo is correct, that text is crisp sharp (not blurry), and the colors are matched from an approved pantone or design. Check that the sticker size and cut lines is how it should be

On receipt of order check a sample from different packs. Check for print that has faded, scratches, bad cuts, or backing paper that does not release easily. If you are going to put them on several vehicles, test one out first (of course).

Save the proof and specifications in writing. In case the goods you receive are different from what is on your order, they can help resolve this issue.

    Factor Installation into the Process

A quality sticker can look trashy when applied to a dirty or wet surface. Clean the area with a product safe for the vehicle finish, and allow to dry completely before application. Stick to the maker’s temperature and fit specifications.

When copying the same design across multiple vehicles, use a guide or template. This helps keep the stickers level, and positioned in the same way. A professional installer can save time and cut back the waste, particularly for a protracted fleet.

Make sure to check local laws, too, before adhering decals to windows, number plates, or lights or any other space that might be regulated. Stickers must not obstruct the driver’s vision or obscure required vehicle markings.

    Make Every Sticker Count

Bulk car stickers can be obtained at low cost, promote brand awareness by creating customized designs that benefit businesses in numerous ways by labeling fleet vehicles and promoting campaigns. You need more than the number ordered to guarantee results. From the ease of reading from the design, to material that suits your vehicle, and print quality that is uniform throughout the batch.

Identify a specific destination, sign off on a full-size proof, compare complete quotes, and review pre-production − preliminary samples before production. One sticker in an entire fleet or campaign can be designed to perform its function with good planning.
